Not So Homeless
... although there are lots'o'them in the neighborhood.
So, I have found a place to live and although it's not much to look at, nor in a good neighborhood, it is just one block from the pub and the price is certainly worth it - and I'm only here for six month before I move into something better.

Exit Strategy
I'm done, with the going away festivities to be held Wednesday, I expect to leave the valley around noon on Thurday. I still have made no arrangements as to where I'm going to stay until I make the touch choice as to where I'm going to live.
So... how about a homecoming party on Friday?

I No Grock HTML
... friggin' bullet points.
So, I just copied and pasted the archive code from my template and moved it to the new column... and now I have annoying bullet points!
How do I get rid of them?

Winding Down
... I'm going to miss some things here
We got together and did some impromptu gaming this evening, and it went exceptionally well. I am really going to miss this campaign, and so are they. I am going to see i I can make it down to Kananaskis once a month or so to keep it going... I think it will be worth the effort.
As you can see, I made some changes to my blog to spice it up a little, I had a different non-starscape picture I wanted to use as a back drop but I like this - although it may die if people object strenously to the loadtime.

Going… Going…
… soon to be gone!
I have received and accepted an offer of employment as the Assistant Manager of a prominent pub in the City of Edmonton. The exact nature of the job and whether or not the Assistant part will be dropped will depend upon the outcome of the owners conversation with the current holder of that position, and whether they decide to pull up their socks or walk.
Either way I’ve given my notice here and expect to be out of the valley by Friday which will give me about a week to make a decision as to my future accommodations. I have several options all of which have significant pros and cons. Parking downtown is a real problem… so it’s something I definitely need to consider carefully. I also have a great deal of stuff sitting in storage both at Anne’s and in a storage locker at a self-storage place – pretty much enough to furnish a small house, so a bachelors suite would mean continued storage, but I have a line on a place that would be a block from the pub, and would be really, really cheap.
Also, I am preparing to return to University… not in the coming session but in Fall of 2007. That should give me enough time to get used to a lower standard of living as a scrimp and save in preparation for the under-employment of student life.
I’m wrapping up things here, and expect to have a going away party Wednesday…
