In Town
I have arrived, and have next-to-no plans for the next three days! All I really need to do is make arrangement with my parents to tkae what stuff I am taking from thier house before the possesion date and arrange for storage of the rest.
I'll see many at BP's... TTYL

Dilemma (and Update)
So, things are going quite well with me… I’m enjoying it more and more as time progresses and as my comfort level grows in the job. However, I am faced with a conundrum of how to attend the upcoming but delayed Purgatory game on August 5th.
I had arranged for three days off next week, that would be covered by my boss, the Director of Operations (so that I could attend the pre-game BP, game and post-game). This wasn’t a problem because he was going on holidays for two weeks as of August 3rd, however, now that the game has moved to the 5th, I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place because I need to attend the game (as both Anne and Dave are going to be IC), and there is a lot going on. On the other hand with the D.Ops on holidays, I really shouldn’t be leaving the valley.
Sigh….

Life Is Not Purgatory
A long, productive day at work. My inbox is empty, the hotel is full. I served food to the Patio, took drink orders in the Pub, delivered water and bread in the Wildflower, talked down two guests by buying them a round, deleivered a romantic dinner for room service.
It was a good day.
Mood: Content
Music: Numb - Linkin Park

With a View

I said I'd start posting some pictures... and now I have. This is the view from the Adminstration Offices, or the the Patio of the Pub.... What can I say... I like working here, I miss everyone, but I like working here.

Three Days in Two Weeks
I have three days off! Three! THREE!!!! And the best part I have them at the endo of the month: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday - returning for Sunday evening. I'll be there at Purgatory, be able to attend the aftergame and still have anothe extra day there with my friends!
Sweet!

It’s Dead Jim…
I think they just killed my hobby. In their infinite wisdom White Wolf has decreed that any time anyone charges a fee to play a game using their systems, setting, etc the organizers of that game will be required to obtain a license from White Wolf and all player will be requited to maintain a membership within the official fan club of WW, ‘The Camarilla”.
I have written an email to the Director of Marketing for WW who announced the policy (effective January), outlined my disagreement and asked for a full refund for all WW products I will no longer be able to use for the intended purpose of live role-playing.
They can go to hell…

Line Cook Needed
I have walked into the kitchen three times this week and donned an apron to help out on the line. We just fired our most competent line cook which leaves us really, with none, just a few aspiring chefs.
/I/ am one of the better line cooks in the building, and thats a problem. So, if you know anyone who has line cook experience and wants to work /alot/ while the wage may not be top of the line the expeience will be... and they get to work with me. :)
