Not Northward Bound
The alignment of the stars didn’t come to pass, and as a result I have withdrawn my application for the Grande Prairie position. The waiting list for accommodation averages about two months, and even then the rental fee would exceed my budget or would be substandard accommodations. Basically, it just wasn’t in the cards.
Today, I do however have a telephone interview for a position as Director of Operations for a small limited-service property in Calgary. The position is likely one where I would be working for an absentee GM or a person who GM’s multiple properties, and therefore it would be a significant amount of responsibility.
I’ll keep everyone informed.
