Sigh
Sometimes I don?t know why I even bother to try. The ?waitress? and I have been setting (and breaking) movie dates several times over the past few months. The last few times plans have been cancelled because of a last minute schedule changes at work. This time our plans were cancelled by neither one of us, however, I did arrive to the restaurant to find Julie with two of her friends. They were interesting people? and I enjoyed the several hours of conversation with the two friends, but she barely said a word and stayed pretty much as far away from me as possible. I can take a hint, I know the various 'lets-be-friends' looks, actions and phrases. I knew better (from earlier entries ? Arthur?s comments not withstanding). The saga is over.
On the flip side, I know of another young lady whose on-again off-again interest is truly both facinating and infuriating. I?m done playing in the ?hard to get? game. I think am going to take my ball? and go home.
Mood: Irritated
Music: Dear God - Sarah McLachlan
