Fun In An Elevator
So ya... I got stuck in an elevator... which wouldn't have been so bad, except I was stuck in it with 7 guests of a wedding party on the way up to dinner in the Penthouse. To top it all off... it wasn't just any wedding party, but a wedding party that was being filmed by the Life Network, as part of thier 'Exchaning Vows' reality-TV show. Ya... it was fun. On the upside, I was /in/ the elevator and able to keep the good spririted people happy (generally by really cutting thier friends as they made wise-assed comments while stuck) and still dropping into my all-serious mode to ensure the one young woman whoi wasn't taking it well was still holdiong up. Anyways... I've been at work for 11 hours (which is about average for me this week).... g'night!

Thanks
It is Thanksiving Day, a secular holiday that I can actually appreciate, ansd so I'll give thanks:
- To my father, while I may never have appreciated his advise and knowledge in all things mechanical in my youth, I know now that I should have learned more then, and leaned on him less now.
- To my mother, for understanding that no one disdains my failed academic endeavours more than me, and not laying into me any more about it, and for being a source for good advice, even if I don't always heed it.
- To my sister, for not picking on me too much anymore.
- To all my friends, for being there.
- To my boss, for trusting me implicitly.
- To my employees, for putting up with all my eccentricities and still coming in to work everyday (for the most part).

Overload
My desk is covered in paper, without any semblance of organization. Everytime I turn around, there is another problem delegated to me to cleanup. I need a break.
Mood: Stressed
Music: Billion Dollar Rockets - Barlow
