Council Wars: Episode II - Clone of the Personal Attacks
I get to officiate the next LRPS Council Meeting. It will be filled with individuals trying to make a statement about fairness in gaming, attempting to stamp out cheating, and a plethora of personality conflicts all in the hopes of following through with the Society Objective of improving the reputation of live roleplaying, promoting the enjoyment of all such participants, and keeping the games as open and intimidating as possible.Yay! - I am so pleased!
Someone (who reads this blog) says that I am intimidating to others, that I am an old-LRPS'er. I remember, not-so-long ago when I was the newbie and Nightshade was my shepherd amongst the gaming community. Have the tables turned so much that I am just as intimidating to the newbies as the 'old-guard' were when I first joined? Am I letting history repeat itself? I don't know... part of me is wondering if we have made any progress at all in the Society... and if our contributions have amounted to a hill of beans.
Regardless, tomorrow will be interesting - I hope I am not arrested for assault or murder tomorrow... I'd hate to be escorted out of my workplace in handcuffs (unless I was attached to someone really hot.)
